Safari Itinerary

• Early Morning Pickup: Our driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha for the drive through Mto wa Mbu and Karatu en route to Ngorongoro.
• Ngorongoro Entry Gate: As you approach the entrance, you’ll be greeted by baboons and various bird species. After a brief registration process, your journey into the crater begins.
• Descent into the Crater: Descend 600 meters into Ngorongoro, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and scents of the tropical forest. Here, you’ll experience some of the best wildlife viewing in Tanzania, including the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino.
• Lunch at the Picnic Area: Around 1:00 PM, enjoy a boxed lunch at a scenic picnic area in the crater, where you can take in the breathtaking views and observe animals up close.
• Afternoon Game Drive: Continue exploring Ngorongoro’s diverse wildlife and natural beauty with an afternoon game drive around the crater.
• Evening Return: In the evening, we’ll leave Ngorongoro and head back to Arusha, arriving at your hotel.
