I don’t even know where to begin. What started as a last-minute idea—reaching out to a travel company just one month before my solo trip to Tanzania—turned into one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, thanks entirely to Patricia and Mbugu Adventure & Safaris.From the moment we got in contact, Patricia took care of everything. She organized a stunning 5-days safari, followed by a week in Arusha and then peaceful days in Zanzibar, with such warmth and professionalism. But the part that truly touched my heart and what I never expected from a travel agency was how she embraced the deeper purpose of my trip and made it into her mission too.My mission wasn’t just to see landscapes and wildlife. As a medical doctor, I wanted to visit maternal clinics, orphanages, and homes for children with disabilities. I wanted to experience the Tanzanian culture, see and meet the locals and the Masai people. I had no contacts in the country, no connections—just a strong wish to learn and help. Patricia didn’t hesitate for a second. She went above and beyond to arrange visits to multiple hospitals, clinics, and care centers in Arusha, but she didn’t just arrange these visits —she came with me, personally, every single day. She was there beside me through long, emotional days, navigating remote areas, translating, guiding, and simply being present. She was helping and doing the community work like I was there for.Her compassion, kindness, and strength were overwhelming. I never felt alone. I felt like I was with someone I’d known my whole life. She welcomed me like family, protected me, guided me, and gave me the confidence to open my heart fully to every experience.This wasn’t just a trip. It was a journey into the soul of Tanzania—into its people, its challenges, its incredible beauty. Seeing and exploring Tanzania, its wildlife and people, in this true way wouldn't have been possible without Patricia. I will carry this experience with me forever. This trip has truly been one of the most fulfilling in my life (and believe me, I have travelled a lot across the world).I’m already planning to return, and without question, I will reach out to Patricia again. Patricia from Mbugu Adventure Safari is amazing at organizing your tours. She helped me organize a trip to ‘Ol Doinyo Lengai’ in Tanzania. A trip that is not part of the usual touristed places, which also means more difficult to get to.I didn’t understand much of what the lovely Massai people said once they picked me up, but everything was coordinated and I had the most amazing time staying with the Massai, and seeing Lake Natron and climbing the Volcano.Patricia also organized some amazing Safari trips including a walking safari in Arusha National park. Memories for life due to Well planned trips.I Cannot recommend her and Mbugu Adventure Safari enough.

We went on two separate trips with Mbugu Adventure Safari, one hiking tour to a series of waterfalls outside of Arusha and one day trip to Tarangire National Park. Both trips were just perfect throughout - everything was very well planned, the environment was amazingly beautiful and both guides we had (Patricia and Albert) were very nice and helpful. They really knew the places very well and told us a lot about the nature and animals. We wished we'd had the time to go on a coffee trip or another hiking tour with Mbugu Adventure Safari. Hopefully next time!

I had an amazing three day’s activities safari with Mbugu adventure and safaris. First day I had a safari experience in tarangire where by, I saw a lot of big groups of elephants which are bigger in size but also I’ve seen a lot of baobab tree, lions and other animals. Second day we went to lake duluti where there is a beautiful view, birds watching, small hiking and canoeing. Third day (last day) we spent this day at Meru (akheri) district where we had coffee activities, we had an opportunity to participate on preparations of coffee from plant to the final product.
